The short version
There are no accounts, forms or mailing lists on this site. If you agree, we use Google Analytics to count visits. The only personal data involved is pseudonymous analytics data: a random visitor ID kept in a cookie, plus details of your visit. It is collected only if you accept, and Google holds it on our behalf. If you don't accept, no analytics is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
Who we are
Tableford, a golf game for iOS, macOS and Android, and this website, tableford.golf, are run by Mooflower Limited. Mooflower Limited is the data controller for this site.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
When you first visit, we ask whether you're happy for us to use Google Analytics. Until you press Accept, no analytics code is loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If you press Reject, no analytics is loaded at all.
If you accept, Google Analytics records things like which pages you view, roughly where you are (country or city), the type of device and browser you use, and which site sent you here. We use this only to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Google uses your IP address to work out your rough location; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
Google Analytics sets these cookies on tableford.golf:
| Cookie | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one visitor apart from another | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Keeps track of the current visit | 2 years |
Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics and processes this data on our behalf, with transfers to Google LLC in the United States under the safeguards Google provides for international transfers. Our legal basis is your consent. Google keeps the detailed analytics data for no more than 14 months.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, analytics stops straight away and we delete the Google Analytics cookies from this site. You can also clear cookies and site data for tableford.golf in your browser settings.
Your choice is stored on your device
We remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics by saving one value in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is not a cookie. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not keep our own logs of visits.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law (GDPR) you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. This covers the analytics data Google holds on our behalf if you accepted analytics. That data is tied to the random ID in your browser's _ga cookie rather than to your name, so we may need that ID to find it. To make a request, email us at the address shown under Who we are. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes to this notice
If we change how this site uses data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
